At St. Martin’s, our PSHE curriculum supports pupils through their physical, emotional and moral development, helping them make positive choices in friendships, relationships and healthy living. Pupils learn how their bodies grow and change, how to stay safe in their community, and what it means to be responsible British citizens.
We equip children with the tools to build resilience, positive assertiveness and healthy mental fitness, preparing them to manage challenges, change and loss. Through real-life examples, scenarios and role‑play, pupils make sense of the world in a practical, supportive way.
PSHE and Health and Wellbeing are central to our school ethos, and underpin all areas of our curriculum and school life, helping our children to develop lifelong skills for maintaining their mental health and overall wellbeing.
