St Martin's Church of England Primary School

After School Clubs

In addition to the academic and pastoral systems, the School offers extra-curricular activities, which broaden the experiences of the children. These are arranged during lunchtimes, after school time and, in the case of orchestra practice, before school begins.

Letters outlining details for the following terms are sent home via children at the beginning of the new Term.  We require signed permission from parents/carers for children to take part in extra-curricular activities, together with payment in advance only where charges apply.  All replies should be returned either to your child's class teacher or the school office.  Spaces will be offered on a first come basis. If clubs have to be cancelled at short notice children will leave the premises at the normal time. When pupils represent the School at away matches, staff and parents provide transport, voluntarily.

These are just some of the additional clubs which have taken place over the last academic year:

Action 3:30

Book Club
Bug Club - for parent & child, demonstrates how to use e-books and support reading
Dance Club

Boys Football

Girls Football
Going Green - Gardening Club

Multi Skills

Multi Sports

Non Contact Boxing Club

Rainbow Club

Sports Breakfast Club

Sports Lunch Club

Sunshine Club

Other Clubs are run by outside organisations, and take place at school for St. Martin's pupils: for example Computer Xplorers

Where external providers organise a club, there is usually a fee.
