Family & Child Support Worker/Pastoral

At St Martin's, we have a Family and Child Support Worker, whose role is to support transition into our school, between classes, transition into secondary school and to support children who are vulnerable for whatever reason so that they can access learning in a classroom situation.  The role also extends to supporting the Headteacher with Safeguarding and Child Protection issues and by monitoring and enforcing the school's Attendance and Behaviour Policies.

If you would like to make an appointment to see Mrs Butchers, Family and Child Support Worker then please contact the school office Te. 01934 628651.

St Martin's School has Pastoral Support Workers in both Reception, KS1 and KS2 who help children overcome behavioural, social and emotional problems that are affecting their learning.  Mrs Chaplin is Learning Mentor for Reception and KS1 children, Mrs Patrick is Learning Mentor for KS2 children.
